Ball end diameter: 4.8mm (default/loose setting, screw out) Anodized blue handle. The sizing tool is designed to remove material from the inside surface of the plastic ball links. Ball Links will vary in size and how tightly they fit the ball. Adjustment of this fit is possible with the tool. Instructions: Many manufacturers use ball links that fit only one way, usually a mark or lettering appears on one side, check with your instructions to verify the correct direction to insert the tool into the ball link. Loosen the 2x8mm phillips head screw and insert into the ball link to be sized and rotate once. Remove the tool and test on a ball, if the ball link does not rotate freely, repeat the process while tightening the adjustment screw slightly. Repeat until the ball link freely rotates on the ball. Please note that once the tool has been adjusted, one or two rotations is all that is needed to resize the remaining ball ball links The desired fit is free to move but not loose. It is possible to remove too much material making the fit excessively loose which can result in a ball link coming off in flight. Regularly check pushrods attached to your helicopter by flexing them away from the control balls. Replace any ball links that are loose or come off completely.
