It is designed to be attached on your helicopter*. One nozzle goes to your helicopter's fuel tank, the other goes to the carburetor. The coupler (silver nozzle) is designed to be attached to the fuel line, which on the other end is attached to your fuel pump. Whenever you need to fuel your helicopter, all you need to do is connect the coupler to the bottom of the valve. The valve gives a snap feel once the coupler is inserted. The valve is surrounded by a flexible rubber that snugly holds the coupler to the valve and prevents gas from dripping on the connection. Once the coupler is connected, the line to the carburetor automatically shuts off. In effect, all the fuel only goes to the tank. * A locking ring is provided if you want to attach this valve to a hard flat surface on your heli like the sideframes. You may need to drill a hole about 9mm in diameter if you want to do this.
